I am so excited to be included in the Author Fair at the Schertz Library tomorrow, October 12th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. This is different from the other book signings because I’ve been selected to be on the panel of authors to talk about their book and what inspired them to write it.

If you know me, this scares me. I’m not comfortable talking in front of a large group. I’m better at talking one on one. The questions were given to me so I could be prepared but I just don’t know what to say about some of them. So, I’m asking for prayers for God first strengthen my voice so I can be heard and  to give me the words to say when asked a question I don’t know how to answer.

I also want to give God the glory for my book, Journey Out of Loneliness. Some of the ideas for the book came to me sometimes in the middle of the night. Yes, I did get up and open my laptop to write down what was put in my mind. I would have to say, this book is written by God inspiration.

There are other “Book Signings” and sales coming up which I’ll be selling  my book.

• On October 17th -the Randolph Spouses Club luncheon.
• November 25th, the Christian Writers Group from First Baptist Church of Universal City is holding it’s annual Author Sale at the church in the Peace Auditorium from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Stop by and buy a book or two.
• December 3rd from 2pm to 7pm, I’ll be with a group of authors at Universal City Library. It’s call Last minute Christmas Gifts.

Books are always a wonderful present, at least in my eyes. Books takes you on adventures, puts you in the middle of a mystery, or teaches you something.

Make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, pick up a book today on this chilly October day and let it transform your mind to another place and time. Then, you can come tomorrow and buy a new book to read on another chilly day to come.
